Think Pink, Eat Pink, Give Pink! We teamed up with ACE Bakery in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation- Ontario Region (CBCF), in an effort to help “beet” cancer. From September 30th through October 25th, 2015, diners can visit any HERO Certified Burgers location in Ontario and purchase a burger on an ACE Bakery pink bun. These exceptional buns get their pink colour from all natural beet juice, which tastes great and contains immune-boosting nutrients.
Our customers will have the option to upgrade their favourite menu burger/sandwich to a pink bun, or order the delightful Think Pink Burger, featuring all-natural Canadian Angus beef, raspberry goat cheese, and a pink slaw. For every pink bun sold during the campaign, $1 will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s Research and Health Promotions activities across Ontario.
One in nine women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year and one-third of cases are preventable via modifiable nehaviors women can take on to reduce their risk including maintaining a healthy body weight.
We hope that our all-natural 100% Canadian Angus beef raised without hormones or antibiotics in between an all-natural beet juice bun will give ladies the right protein to help maintain a healthy and energetic weight.
The ravages of breast cancer affect so many people. We feel strongly about finding innovative ways, like the Think Pink burger, to raise funds for breast cancer research with the goal of ending such a terrible disease
Join us and ACE Bakery on Sunday, October 4th, at the CIBC Run for the Cure Toronto site.
Runners, look out for the HERO food truck at the finish line, where we’ll be ready with pink sliders in hand. All donations will continue to benefit CBCF.
